The best of beauty advent calendars

beautyadvent As many beauty lovers know, the last few years have seen a splendid transition from the original, chocolate-based advent calendars to a mind-boggling variety of marvelous beauty offerings that provide an alternative to every kind of beauty addict out there. Today we’ve rounded up our favourite beauty calendars on the market and provided you with a quick guide to get you set for December!

Makeup Revolution Advent Calendar (£20):
First off, we have the cheapest of the lot (and currently on offer!) from high street brand Makeup Revolution. Including many blogger favourites, this calendar features 25 full-sized products to welcome you every morning with your morning coffee – a surefire way to warm up any frosty winter moods!
YOU Beauty Advent Calendar (£59.95):
The YOU Beauty offering this year is really one for the girl who loves to try a bit of everything! It contains products from Burts Bees, Benefit, Caudalie, Molton Brown, Nuxe, Ren, and many more! It’s said to be worth over £300, so I’d be adding this to my basket as we speak!
Charlotte Tilbury’s Book of Makeup Magic (£150):
This bad boy is the most expensive of the bunch, and for very good reason! Although this treat only contains 12 products rather than the traditional 24, you’ll be more than willing to spread the products out when you see what’s behind those magical doors! With a splendid mix of award-winning skincare, a selection of best-selling lipsticks, and much more to boot, this will make getting out of bed so much easier!
Benefit Party Poppers Advent Calendar (£34.50):
Does anyone do gifts better than Benefit? They have a whole bunch of magnificent gifts to catch your eye this year, but this Party Popper Advent Calendar is certainly something special. It includes some of Benefits bestsellers, so make sure to take a look!
Ciaté Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar (£49):
Most will probably regard this as the ‘original’ beauty advent calendar after its debut in 2011. This spectacular offering contains 23 of Ciaté’s gorgeous mini polishes (three of which are treatments) which include both Caviar and Sequin finishes, as well as a surprise full-sized polish and a mini glass nail file. At £49, this may seem like a bit of an upgrade from your usual chocolatey treat, but this will leave your nails looking gorgeous for months to come!
The Body Shop 24 Happy Days Premium Advent Calendar (£80):
We all know that there’s nothing quite like receiving some gorgeous, scented goodies from The Body Shop for Christmas, so what could be better than counting down to the big day with a cute little mini every morning? With a great mix of skincare, body care, and makeup stashed behind its doors, this Body Shop advent calendar is one you won’t want to miss!
No7 25 Days of Beauty Wonders Advent Calendar (£38):
If you’re looking for something slightly more affordable, but still want to feel like you’re being totally spoiled leading up to Christmas, No7’s offering will be perfect for you! With a lovely mixture of luxurious skin care, body care, makeup, and nail polishes, you’ll be fighting to get your hands on this one!
